What Is LUPUS?
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects millions worldwide, disproportionately impacting women of color and those in underserved communities. For individuals living with Lupus, daily life can be filled with challenges—from debilitating fatigue and pain to long hospital stays and relentless treatment schedules. While medical care is essential, many wellness tools that significantly improve quality of life are not covered by insurance or accessible to those with limited incomes.
Women’s International Grail, Inc. is proud to launch the Stand With Lupus Warriors initiative: a compassion-driven campaign designed to provide care, comfort, and critical support to low-income individuals living with Lupus. Through this project, we will deliver care kits filled with wellness items and provide financial relief for basic living expenses while patients recover in the hospital or manage their condition at home.
Our mission is to ease the burden of Lupus and remind every patient that they are not alone in this fight.
Our Mission
To provide compassionate, holistic support to individuals living with Lupus by distributing essential care kits and financial assistance that ease symptoms, enhance well-being, and restore dignity during treatment and recovery.
Our Goal
Over the next 12 months, we aim to assemble and distribute “Lupus Care Kits* to individuals and families in need, while also supporting patients with essential living costs during hospitalization or active flare-ups. Each care kit will directly improve the daily life of a person living with Lupus and serve as a tangible reminder that they are supported and seen.

What We Need: Donations & Supplies
We are accepting **monetary contributions** and **new, unused product donations** to include in our Lupus Care Kits. Below is a list of priority items needed to support Lupus patients:
Hair and Scalp Care
– Hair growth oils and treatments
– Sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner
– Scalp care products to reduce inflammation
Medication Management
– Travel-size pill organizers
– Weekly medication cases
Skin and Body Care
– Natural, fragrance-free lotions for sensitive skin
– Hypoallergenic or unscented soaps
– Aromatherapy oils for stress relief
Pain and Symptom Relief
– Lidocaine cream
– Lidocaine patches
– Reusable heating pads
– Ice packs and cooling pads
– Massage oils
Winter Essentials
– Sweaters and hoodies
– Warm gloves (including compression gloves)
– Hats and beanies
– Thermal underwear / long johns
– Thick, warm socks
– Scarves and fleece blankets
Wellness & Mental Health Support
– Herbal teas
– Journals and notebooks
– Weighted blankets (optional)
– Mental health resource flyers
– Sleep masks and earplugs
– Stress-relief kits (lavender sachets, fidget items,)
